This innovative 60-minute class focuses on solving problems specific to your skill level, aspirations, and interests. Like learning a musical instrument, mastering BJJ requires regular, focused practice. Experience help with your techniques as you build muscle memory, and enhance your physical awareness. Games classes use play-based training to test and contextualise techniques. With a self-defence focus, Fighting Fit incorporates pad-work, calisthenics, bodyweight exercises, and partner drills to develop strength and conditioning. Rogue BJJ Open Mat Practice is a weekly gathering of all Rogue BJJ students. It’s your opportunity to put everything you’ve learned into practice. Experiment with techniques, identify gaps in your knowledge, and set new goals for the weeks ahead. Open Mat is where our community comes together to connect and ensure everyone continues to grow and improve.
These are tailored beginners BJJ sessions for new members for you to ease into things. Learn 101 foundational techniques and mechanics of Rogue BJJ. Get the theory and approach of Rogue BJJ and discuss Q/A as a small group. Be introduced to other community members including our Mandala Studio yoga teachers so you can understand what your new All Access Membership means for your holistic health.
For those progressing beyond the fundamentals, Rogue BJJ offers exclusive Advanced Classes for members by invitation. These sessions include training for Blue Belt, Purple Belt, Advanced Belts, and Instructor Development. Advanced classes dive deeper into BJJ techniques while integrating wrestling, striking, and weapon defence and attack. Students are encouraged to develop their own personal expression of BJJ, exploring techniques and philosophies that resonate.
Private sessions with Rogue BJJ Head Coach Mike Armstrong are designed for students who want to accelerate their development through highly detailed, personalised training. In these 1-on-1 sessions, Mike will help you solve specific challenges, refine techniques, and develop principles and drills that you can practice for months.
