About the bulldog

The dog on the gear is Squish, an English bulldog, and he is usually in the studio. His story is on the about page.

He is on the back of the gis. The crew neck jumpers carry a small embroidered Squish on the front. The t-shirt has him alongside the words Tap Learn Evolve, which is about as close to a motto as this club has.

You do not need any of this to start. Comfortable athletic clothing without zips or pockets is fine for your first sessions, and a gi only becomes worth buying once you have decided to keep training. Nobody will push gear at you in your first week.

We take card on the spot. There is no online shop and we do not post anything out, so everything here is bought in person at Lyneham.

Sizes and what is on the shelf vary. If you want to check that something is in your size before making the trip, get in touch and we will have a look for you.
